Farm Outing Class

Learning with kids in a classroom is a challenge. Yet, there are always ways to connect the lessons to the real world. Farm outing class is an unbeatable way to relate the theme you’re learning with the outside world. When visiting a farm, kids will learn how their experiences in some aspects of learning with hands-on experience.

In addition, going on an outing to a farm is a great way for kids to experience their connection with the natural world first-hand. For some students, this kind of activity might be their first chance to see animals like cows, and chickens. We believe that a trip to a farm can facilitate the growth of a child’s sense of self, as they make sense of their relation to the wider natural world.

The Preschooler went to H. Dayat farm in Randupadangan, Menganti, to do some activities such as milking cow, feeding cows and riding cows. They were looked so excited even when the first step entering the bus. At the end of the session students get the fresh milk as their part of learning result. Happy learning, happy kids!
