Chalidana Islamic School (CIS) was established in 2021 with a vision to nurture Muslim students through high-quality Islamic education, empowering them to become confident global citizens and smart future leaders.
Founded by Mr. Mochamad Ilyas, Mrs. Vera Nizar, and Mr. Mochamad Yunus Chalidana, CIS is an initiative of the founders of Chalidana Group, a leading real estate company with more than 25 years of experience. Driven by their commitment to education and the Muslim community, they recognized the need for an Islamic faith-based school that combines academic excellence, strong Islamic values, and international perspectives.
The founders believe that education is the key to success, while faith is the foundation for achieving happiness and salvation in both this world and the Hereafter. This belief inspired them to establish a school that nurtures students intellectually, spiritually, and socially, equipping them with the knowledge, character, and global competencies needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
Chalidana Islamic School first opened its campuses in Gresik and Sidoarjo in 2021, followed by the opening of CIS Malang in 2022. Today, CIS serves families across Gresik, Sidoarjo, Malang, and the surrounding areas, offering high-quality education at the Preschool and Primary levels.
Through an integrated curriculum that combines Islamic values with international standards, CIS is committed to developing lifelong learners who are confident in their faith, innovative in their thinking, and prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
