Islamic Curriculum

The school places strong emphasis on Islamic values through both structured subjects and daily religious practices. These are designed not only to build knowledge but also to nurture character, spirituality, and consistent worship habits among students

  • Arabic

Students learn basic to intermediate Arabic with a focus on vocabulary, simple grammar, and comprehension.

  • Fiqih (Islamic Jurisprudence)

This subject introduces students to practical aspects of Islamic law, including purification (thaharah), prayer (shalat), fasting, and other acts of worship. 

  • Aqidah dan Akhlak
Emphasis is placed on values such as honesty, respect, responsibility, and empathy in daily life. 

  • Ummi Al-Qur'an Reciting Method
The school uses the UMMI method to teach Qur’an recitation in a structured, systematic, and phonics-based approach. This ensures students read the Qur’an correctly (tartil) with proper tajwid. 

  • Congregational Prayers (Dhuha, Dzuhur, Ashar)

Students perform daily prayers in congregation (jama’ah) to build discipline, unity, and a strong habit of worship. 

  • Collective Dzikir (Remembrance of Allah)

Students regularly engage in guided dzikir sessions to cultivate mindfulness, gratitude, and spiritual awareness.

International Curriculum

Using an international curriculum is a way of showing our commitment to achieving excellence in education.  
 
We are committed to using the Cambridge International Curriculum as its qualifications enable us to open doors for learners and are a passport to success, At the Primary level, we are using the main subjects of Cambridge: English, Mathematics, and Science.

Chalidana Islamic School Gresik and Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) officially established a significant collaboration on Monday, January 22, 2024! The partnership focuses specifically on the Cambridge Curriculum and program, integrating Chalidana Islamic School as part of Universitas Negeri Malang's Cambridge Center with ID 110 to implement the Primary Checkpoint.

National Curriculum

The school implements the latest version of the National Curriculum based on the National Standards of Education set by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. The curriculum is enriched through the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, which emphasizes flexibility, student-centered learning, and the development of essential competencies.

The learning process adopts a deep learning approach, encouraging students to think critically, understand concepts meaningfully, and apply knowledge in real-life contexts.
